TLC caught up with Julieanne Mijares in Miami, the superstar stylist who was responsible for all of their most iconic outfits in the 90s!

The friends had a catch up while TLC were in town for the Funk Fest festivial in Miami on December 10, 2016.

It would be amazing if Julie and TLC were able to work together again! We hope it can happen, watch this space!

Watch TLC‘s full set at Miami Funk Fest 2016!

TLC performed at the Miami Funk Fest tonight, December 10, 2016! It also marks their final concert date of the year, so it was a special one!

The ladies opened the show with “No Introduction”, performed for the very first time in the US!

They continued to smash out hit after hit, keeping the fans dancing and singing the whole time!

TLC superfan Darryl was also recognized by the girls! Chilli spotted him in the crowd and said she knows him and remembers he has had the Red Light Special in the past so she had to share the love and give another lucky fan the chance! Sweet!

R&B superstar and five-time Grammy-winner Tionne “T-Boz” Watkins, who was one-third of the chart-topping group TLC, talks about her new role on DAYS in the new issue of Digest.

Watkins says she was thrilled to be offered the role. “My agent and manager asked if I was interested and I was!” she enthuses. “I couldn’t believe that not only were they interested in having me on the show, but that this would be a recurring role. The role sounded amazing. I’ve always wanted to play a thug-type chick.”

Though she is a performer by trade, Watkins shares, “I was nervous my first day on set, but they were so accommodating and comforting. It really helped me feel at ease and calm my nerves. Everyone was so nice and down-to-earth.”

She has special praise for new co-star Kristian Alfonso (Hope). “My first impression of Kristian was that she looks so good! Also, how amazingly nice and humble she was! She was my favorite, to tell you the truth. She’s so helpful.”
