Inga “Nandi” Willis took time out today to remember and give thanks to Lisa “Left Eye” Lopes today, on the 15th anniversary of her passing.

“Nandi”, named after the African queen, was originally an MC who was signed to Left Eye Productions. Lisa offered her writing opportunities which helped her develop as an artist.

Left Eye offered Inga the opportunity to write her verse on the Donell Jones song “U Know What’s Up”, which became a number one smash all over the world and earned Inga her first check and plaque, putting her on the map!

Inga had other writing credits with Lisa, including work on her debut solo album, 2001’s “Supernova” on the track “Let Me Live”, another outstanding Left Eye verse!

We thank and appreciate you Inga for sharing your talent with Lisa and sharing your memories of working with Lisa, letting the world know how giving and loving Lisa truly was!

Update: For unknown reasons, Entertainment Tonight did not air TLC’s segment as they announced on Friday. We will let you know when they schedule a slot to air it.

We do! TLC will be taking the world “Way Back” tonight, as their music will be featured on ABC’s Dancing With The Stars!

Most fans will remember TLC made their Dancing With The Stars debut back in 2013 along with Lil Mama whilst promoting their hit movie ‘CrazySexyCool: The TLC Story‘.

TLC will also be featured on Entertainment Tonight on CBS at 7.30PM, as their video shoot for “Way Back” is documented in an exclusive behind the scenes segment on the show, which also features a handful of the TLC Army!
