TLC megafan Dane Mullings got the perfect treatment at TLC’s concert in Canada’s Echo Beach Saturday night, part of 93.5 The Move’s Throw Back Bash!
Dane stood out from the crowd and was invited on stage to receive the Red Light Special from Chilli! He showed the girls a few of his moves too, which they loved!
The meetings for the release of the new TLC album are going well. Opportunities have arisen worldwide, from US to the UK, as Lisa once said!
The girls management recently were in London to secure the best platform to release the album on. We know contracts are important so these things can’t be rushed.
We need a record label that can give the girls the best exposure and have the ability to promote and distribute the album efficiently worldwide.
One things for sure, everyday is one step closer to hearing all new TLC music!
Back in 2012, TLC were invited to make a cameo in the music video for Waterfalls by Stooshe, an up and coming girl group from the UK.
T-Boz and Chilli appear at the end, watching Stooshe perform their song and giving it their seal of approval. Stooshe put their own spin on the track and sang Left Eye’s rap!
That same year, the MOBO Awards invited TLC to the UK to receive the Outstanding Contribution to Music award. Stooshe attended the show with the girls and presented them with their award!
TLC’s first MOBO award was in 1999 for No Scrubs. It was accepted by Wayne from British boyband Another Level, as TLC were rehearsing for their Fanmail tour.
The MOBO awards also invited Left Eye to host the show back in 2000, which she did an outstanding job doing!
Not without controversy, however, as Lisa pulled a stunt and went missing instead of attending a MOBO press conference.
Lisa was later spotted by a camera crew. She was doing a contest. The winner would get tickets to join her at the MOBOs in London!
