TLC have just released two new songs via iTunes Japan!

“Haters” and “Joyride” are now available to Japan to purchase, released under Warner Music Japan, who also handled the TLC 20th Anniversary album in 2013.

T-Boz has settled in Japan!

Still jetlagged from the 16-hour time difference, but she is happy, passing time relaxing in her beautiful hotel suite, watching her favorite TV shows and going to the spa!

T also had some time to check in with fans on Twitter and give us a few updates!

Firstly, she wanted to set naysayers straight who keep talking junk about the album release!

The album is still set for the 1st quarter of 2017, while overseas fans may get something this year!

She let fans know the new tour, which kicks off in Japan, will indeed feature some new songs IN FULL and the show will have all new dance routines! It will be full of surprises!

T-Boz also wanted fans to know she is doing fine, and although she was sad at the thought of leaving her kids at home, she is ok now and has a special chain from Chase to keep safe which keeps her smiling!

She also mentioned that she would LOVE to put out a TLC compilation of unreleased TLC music, which would include original songs with Lisa “Left Eye” Lopes!

The legendary Chuck D of the hip hop group Public Enemy is a big fan of TLC and understands the importance behind the group.

He stated on Twitter that the girls should make an album every year because they are an act people want to hear from!

 

Chuck D is correct with that statement, that is the reason TLC were able to raise funds for their 5th album via Kickstarter within 48 hours!

When a legend like Chuck D makes bold statement like that, you know the impact TLC has on the world was very powerful and relevant to this day.

Chuck D also hinted that he wouldn’t mind seeing Lil Mama add her rap flava to give a feel of what Left Eye would have provided to the girls current work.

With or without a Lil Mama feature, the new TLC album is going to be another masterpiece we cannot wait to hear!

And we TOTALLY agree that a TLC album every year would be an amazing idea!
