The promotional trailer is called ‘Beneath The Hits’, a nod to the hit VH1 documentary series ‘Behind The Music’, and features commentary from other real life music stars such as Ashanti, Tyrese and Cam’ron, which adds to the authentic feel you get from a story on a girl group that doesn’t really exist.

In a bid to give it a true taste of 90’s nostalgia, T-Boz opens up about the realities of the music business and her thoughts on The Nasty B’s. “The music industry has a way of swallowing you up and then spit you out, quick”, she says. “But the Nasty B’s? Those girls be jamming”, she adds. “They are seriously talented”.

TLC Forced To Postpone CrazySexyCool Tour Dates Due To T-Boz’s Allergic Reaction to Smoke

TLC were forced to reschedule some of the dates on their current ‘Celebration of CrazySexyCool’ tour on Oct 2, after revealing that T-Boz had been suffering from an allergic reaction to the recreational smoking that had taken place backstage at a previous show in Belton, TX on Sept 30.

As a result, their shows in Texas on Oct 2 and Oct 3 were rescheduled to Oct 4 and Oct 5, respectively. However, due to the rescheduling of the Houston and Dallas dates, their tour buses and trucks are not logistically able to make the performance at the Mesa Amphitheatre in Arizona on time. Therefore, they are unfortunately forced to cancel the show on Oct 6.

In a statement, TLC posted, “Due to extreme cigarette and recreational smoke being present backstage at a previous show, T-Boz suffered an allergic reaction. The group has always enforced a strict no smoking policy at their shows in an effort to prevent any health related issues for the group and/or crew.”

Chilli insists that although the Arizona date is now cancelled, that it will indeed be rescheduled at a later date. “Arizona fans we love you and will be back soon!”, they said in a statement.

TLC’s show on Oct 30 at the Spirit Mountain Casino in Oregon has also been cancelled. All current ticket holders will receive a refund within 14 business days.

Exposure to the toxins in cigarettes is very dangerous for T-Boz because she has Sickle Cell Anemia. The disease itself comes with an increased risk of pulmonary abnormality due to deoxygenated hemoglobin, and cigarette smoke only increases the chances of severe illness.

The remaining dates on the tour will go ahead as planned, so fans wishing to attend can still get tickets at livenation.com and ticketmaster.com

Please ensure you refrain from smoking whilst in attendance to the shows.

TLC are being supported by Bone Thugs-N-Harmony on this tour.

Wishing TLC a continued healthy tour. Glad to see T-Boz was able to attend the show tonight in Houston, TX at the Smart Financial Centre in Sugar Land. Check them out in the clip below:

Normani Pays Homage To TLC During Her ‘Wild Side’ VMA Performance

Normani and the members of her former group Fifth Harmony have always been huge fans of TLC, and they would always show them love, praising them as inspirations in interviews and covering their songs in various shows.

Normani has paid some more homage this week, when she deservedly was presented with the opportunity to perform her latest single, “Wild Side“, at the 2021 MTV Video Music Awards on September 12, and she did not disappoint!

Normani delivered the TV debut of “Wild Side” in a TLC inspired silver metallic outfit that drew from the group’s 1999 “No Scrubs” video. Normani was joined by a group of backup dancers in similar outfits that accompanied Normani as she danced across the stage.

Normani’s performance for the song, which samples Aaliyah’s “One in a Million”, also featured choreography very reminiscent of Aaliyah’s music video for the hit 1996 track.

She then gave us a raunchy dose of Janet Jackson inspired choreography, when she brought out singer Teyana Taylor out on stage, strapped to a human shaped platform, where she then seductively danced around and over Teyana, very much like Janet seduces a fan during the segment on her own tour.

Fans were also quick to point out the similarities and excitedly took to Twitter:
