Chilli spoke with Go 95.3‘s Auggie & Sophia on today’s show to reveal her tips on how she always looks so amazing, as well as what her favourite TLC song and what’s in store on the upcoming tour this summer.

You’ll have to wait and see! But I will put it to you this way — performing means everything to us. People wanna come out and see us, so we always make sure that we put on a high energy show for eveyone. So, you’re gonna get that.
Chilli’s Secrets To Looking Amazing
Obviously, what I do, and I tell people this all the time, yes working out is very important. If you don’t do it, you get stiff. So, I like to encourage people to do what works for them. I don’t like to jog, I’m not a jogger, but I can dance all day long! When jogging, I’ll be out of breath in like two seconds. If that’s something to a person, then do it.
Even on the days when you have to push yourself a little more, you’ll go ahead and do it. So, for me, I like to work out at home. All of my work outs consist of Beachbody DVD work outs and their programs. Because I’m very petite, so I can’t just do cardio, otherwise I’ll look invisible. I like to incorporate weights. But you gotta eat right.
Vegetarian and Flexitarian LifestyleÂ
I am a vegetarian and an occasional pescatarian. Like, if I cook salmon for my son or my family, I’ll eat it. Occasionally, I’m a flexitarian (laughs). I love that. Other than that, it’s plant based. I try and stay away from gluten. I don’t have an issue with gluten things, but the gut doesn’t like it. I don’t drink the devil’s juice, at all. I don’t do drugs of any kind, I just never got into anything like that. And that makes a huge difference to ageing, it will definitely speed up the process. I drink a lot of alkaline water, 95% of the time. I try to get good sleep, and I don’t have the stress of a relationship!
Favourite TLC song
I really love “Hat 2 Da Back”. It’s my favourite song because the lyrics describe us to a T. And Lisa’s rap — it’s my favourite rap of hers! It’s so much fun, and the video is fun, I just love that song!

TLC Turned Down Real Housewives of Atlanta: “I’d Go To Jail For Real!”
Could the ladies of TLC ever make their Real Housewives of Atlanta debut?
T-Boz and Chilli sat down with ET’s Lauren Zima on Wednesday, where they chatted about their summer tour with Nelly and Flo Rida, but also revealed that they’ve been asked on multiple occasions to join the Bravo reality show.
“I have,” Chilli admitted about being asked to be a part of the series, with T-Boz adding, “I have too, four times.”
So would they ever join the ladies of Atlanta? “Heck no,” Chilli said.
“I did [a cameo] for Kandi [Burruss] one time,” T-Boz said, adding, “This is the thing, I don’t play like that. Like, I’m not arguing, I’m too old to be arguing and first of all, I don’t argue with nobody I don’t care about. If I care about you, I will take the time to do this. But I’m not arguing with no grown women. I’ll end up going to jail for real. Like, I don’t do that.”
Chilli jokingly added, “And I wouldn’t be able to bail her out because I would be right there with her.”
All in all, the two are just not fans of the series and say they “have a brand to protect and there is just no way” that they would enter that world. For now, T-Boz and Chilli are content with continuing their music careers and giving fans what they want.
During the sit down, the two also touched on their “sister-plus” friendship, where they got emotional about talking about being more than best friends and family.
“We went through everything together, life, death, marriage, divorce, breakups. We have been there through all the hurt you can possibly endure and all the good times. We’ve had arguments,” T-Boz expressed about their 29-year friendship. “We’ve been through everything that now, in our adult life, it’s so much easier. We both have grown a lot.”
The “No Scrubs”singers, meanwhile, can’t wait to share the stage with Nelly and Flo Rida in August and are ready to take fans down memory lane.
“It’s high energy, a lot of dancing. It’s a good feeling, you’ll feel Left Eye’s presence, absolutely,” T-Boz teased of what fans can expect. “Everybody leaves feeling good every time. That’s what we always hear…Takes you back to a time that makes you reminisce on something that was important to you.”

Chilli: “I Would Love TLC & Spice Girls To Tour Together!”
Chilli is up for reigniting some 90’s girl power with another top girl group from their era – the Spice Girls!
Speaking with Billboard to celebrate Live Nation’s National Concert Week, the ‘C’ of TLC reveals that she would love for her group to tour with the British girl band one day.
“I really would love to go on tour with The Spice Girls. I think TLC and the Spice Girls would be super epic,” Chilli says. “We’ve spoken to a couple of the girls but hopefully in the future that tour can happen.”
The ladies of TLC met up with Spice Girl Melanie C in 2018, when they both performed exclusively at the Mighty Hoopla festival in London.
Melanie C has previously worked with a TLC member in the past. She hired the late Lisa “Left Eye” Lopes to join her on the #1 smash, “Never Be The Same Again“, in 2000.
Both girl groups are busy on separate tours this year. While the Spice Girls have reunited for a UK tour with support act Jess Glynne, TLC have teamed up with Nelly & Flo Rida for a US summer tour.
The North American amphitheater tour is included in the more than 2,800 Live Nation shows being offered for $20 during the promoter’s National Concert Week.
TLC has been touring on and off since their first major trek, the FanMail tour in 1999.
“When we had our Fanmail tour we had Christina Aguilera and Destiny’s Child. It is all about the packages in my opinion,” says Chilli. “It makes it more of a fun time for the fans because they love many artists. If you have the right group together, it makes it super exciting.”
