Sheila and Abe celebrate at the pub but Abe doesn’t like the way things went down at the press conference. Sheila has no qualms about Trask going down after the stunt she pulled, highlighting the fact Sheila messed up with Xander.
Abe finds Sheila courageous to step up for him, taking full responsibility for her mistake. He thinks she’s been doing better at her job. She’s been trying. It’s the first time she had a job she respects which is why she is angry at Trask.
Abe is happy to hear this. They hold hands and Abe breaks away to call Val. Sheila smiles to herself thinking about Abe.
Would a romantic unison between Abe and Sheila work out?
Chilli had TLC fans excited this week on Monday (Feb 25), when she was spotted in Barbados at the annual Oistins Festival, along with her friends, rapper Lil’ Kim and singer Mýa.
It was later revealed that the ladies were on the tropical island together for a good reason, besides a sunny vacation; the gorgeous trio are in the process of shooting a brand new TV show for VH1 called ‘Girls Crew‘!
The Blast spotted the ladies on the beach today (Feb 26), shooting scenes for the show whilst soaking up some sunshine. Cameras will follow their every move as they have fun and travel to various Caribbean islands.
This marks the first time Chilli and Lil’ Kim have worked together professionally. Kim previously worked with TLC members Left Eye on her 1997 hit single ‘Not Tonight (Ladies Night)‘ and T-Boz worked behind the scenes on the video shoot with the ladies.

Abe finds it grim not having support for his debate since Val can’t make it. Sheila’s got his back. She believes in him. She gives him some tricks on what to say during his speech to increase his ratings.
Abe smiles and admits Sheila’s growing on him. Melinda appears and vows to win today!
Melinda snarks off about Jennifer being Abe’s campaign publicist and the moderator. Jenn is a journalist and knows how to be objective. Melinda doubts it but isn’t afraid of “liberal bias.” She goes and Eve and Jack appear.
Though Jack was squeezed out of the race, they came to watch. Jennifer opens the televised debate and Abe begins his speech. He feels honored to been serving.
During the speech, JJ and Haley watch and argue about why she is rooting for her sister. Haley knows her career is her world. Melinda purses her lips at the end of Abe’s speech and says horrific crimes have happened in the square, such as Marlena’s shooting.
As DA, they caught the perp but he’s free since he was able to walk into Mayor Carver’s office and delete the proof of the crime.
She blames Abe and he responds by taking full responsibility until Sheila steps up and blames herself then resigns!
Abe refuses to accept. “We’re only human. Mistakes happen,” he says. Melinda wonders if it was a mistake – citing that Sheila’s an ex-con. Abe fights back, saying Melinda prosecuted too many innocent people because she rushed to judgement.
He brings up the police officers’ endorsement while Melinda starts in on the thugs from another country who attacked Chloe. Eve steps up and talks over Jennifer to ask Melinda her stance on “illegal immigrants.”
When Melinda won’t answer, Jack jumps up and demands responses. Abe says that’s a federal issue and at home, JJ groans while Haley realizes he shared her secret.
Melinda answers that she takes a firm stance against it so Jack blurts that it’s interesting since her sister is one and lives in Salem.
Is this the last we’ll see of Sheila or will she change her mind and keep her job?
Oakland’s finest singer-songwriter Kehlani decided to break her musical silence last week, Feb 22, dropping her mixtape, ‘While We Wait‘, to tide us over whilst she puts the finishing touches to her second LP!
One of the stand-out cuts on the project is the 90’s-styled ‘Morning Glory‘, which wouldn’t sound out of place on a TLC album. In fact, Kehlani even included a rap and sounds very similar to an early Lisa “Left Eye” Lopes!
Out reviewed the track as “Kehlani’s most relatable song to date, about a man needing to be prepared to see his woman stripped bare at bedtime if he wants to see her looking all fresh in the morning.”
“I wanna take my wig off / I wanna lay it on the nightstand / I wanna take my makeup off / I wanna rip these nails off my hands.” Ladies, who among us cannot say the same? “Don’t need acrylics on the clock to hit the nail on the head / Don’t need my inches down my back to throw it back in the bed.”
Fans were quick to point out the Left Eye similarities on social media:

However, Kehlani received the biggest compliment from Left Eye’s very own sister, Reigndrop Lopes!
“Left Eye’s sister just told me “Lisa would’ve loved you as an artist”, she tweeted to her 865k followers on Twitter. “yeah i’m finna go cry to Morning Glory, toodles”.
If ‘While We Wait’ truly acts as a teaser of what to expect on her second full studio album, due for release later this year, we cannot wait to hear it!
