Days: Sheila Resigns From Her Mayors Assistant Position

Abe finds it grim not having support for his debate since Val can’t make it. Sheila’s got his back. She believes in him. She gives him some tricks on what to say during his speech to increase his ratings.

Abe smiles and admits Sheila’s growing on him. Melinda appears and vows to win today!

Melinda snarks off about Jennifer being Abe’s campaign publicist and the moderator. Jenn is a journalist and knows how to be objective. Melinda doubts it but isn’t afraid of “liberal bias.” She goes and Eve and Jack appear.

Though Jack was squeezed out of the race, they came to watch. Jennifer opens the televised debate and Abe begins his speech. He feels honored to been serving.

During the speech, JJ and Haley watch and argue about why she is rooting for her sister. Haley knows her career is her world. Melinda purses her lips at the end of Abe’s speech and says horrific crimes have happened in the square, such as Marlena’s shooting.

As DA, they caught the perp but he’s free since he was able to walk into Mayor Carver’s office and delete the proof of the crime.

She blames Abe and he responds by taking full responsibility until Sheila steps up and blames herself then resigns!

Abe refuses to accept. “We’re only human. Mistakes happen,” he says. Melinda wonders if it was a mistake – citing that Sheila’s an ex-con. Abe fights back, saying Melinda prosecuted too many innocent people because she rushed to judgement.

He brings up the police officers’ endorsement while Melinda starts in on the thugs from another country who attacked Chloe. Eve steps up and talks over Jennifer to ask Melinda her stance on “illegal immigrants.”

When Melinda won’t answer, Jack jumps up and demands responses. Abe says that’s a federal issue and at home, JJ groans while Haley realizes he shared her secret.

Melinda answers that she takes a firm stance against it so Jack blurts that it’s interesting since her sister is one and lives in Salem.

Is this the last we’ll see of Sheila or will she change her mind and keep her job?

T-Boz aka Sheila Watkins Bags Herself VIP Sade Tickets!

2.1-domore_thearena_header-1

In the office, Sheila (Tionne ‘T-Boz’ Watkins) listens to her tunes with headphones while Abe (James  Reynolds) yells at someone on a call. He complains about people facing consequences when they make mistakes.

He has two VIP tickets to Sade for Valerie (Vanessa Williams) but she had to cancel. Sheila tells him to go anyway. Abe invites her along.

Sheila says, “You’re my boss and you just asked me on a date.” Lani (Sal Stowers) and Eli (Lamon Archey) waltz in and Lani asks, “He did what now?” Abe explains. They tell him about the missing footage. His office and Salem SPD and John Black are the only ones who have access.

Sheila says John was there earlier to ask for the footage. She tells them how hot he is and she swooned over his sexy accent. Lani’s confused, “What accent?” Sheila flashes to meeting a man in a suit – but it wasn’t John, it was Xander (Paul Telfer)!

He conned her. She flashes to asking for ID and “John” confessing he forgot it, then swearing he was really John Black. Sheila was distracted by his muscles and when Eli shows his photo, Sheila confirms that’s him.

Lani and Eli go and Abe blows up. Sheila’s sorry. She admits her mistake but reminds him it won’t look good at HR. He asked her out on a date and then fires her?

“How’s that gonna look, Boss?”, Sheila threatens. Abe sighs and ends up giving Sheila the Sade tickets.

There’s only one question remaining — who will she invite as her date to the sold out VIP Sade concert?

T-Boz as Sheila Officiates Marriage of Sonny and Leo!

InShot_20181212_204240243

On the previous episode of Days Of Our Lives, viewers were left with the cliffhanger of someone interrupting Sheila Watkins (Tionne “T-Boz” Watkins) from completing the officiating of the wedding ceremony!

Victor (John Aniston) bursts in on Leo (Greg Rikaart) and Sonny’s (Freddie Smith) wedding! Victor wants to shut this down immediately. Leo went after Sonny and attacked Titan with that sexual harassment lawsuit. Victor just won’t get why Sonny would ever marry this scum, but he doesn’t know that scum’s got serious leverage!

Sheila’s time is money and she doesn’t have time for all these delays and interruptions, but Leo convinces her to hang around a little longer to complete the ceremony for an added bonus, which she agrees to.

Sonny will explain the situation to Victor. He’ll fill him in on Leo’s blackmail and make Victor see that these nuptials have to happen. Victor won’t stand in the way, so Leo and Sonny will become husbands, officially.

Sheila later breaks the news to Will Horton (Chandler Massey) at the bar, not knowing he is the partner of Sonny, the love of his life, whom she has just legally officiated the marriage to another man!
