TLC’s Last Album Reaches It’s First Year Anniversary!

“It’s been a long, long time coming“, the opening line from ‘Way Back‘, the first single lifted from TLC‘s first album in 15 years, which was released a year ago today on June 30, 2017!

After breaking the record for the fastest Kickstarter funded pop project ever in 2015 (they raised over $430k and smashed their $150k deadline in under 48 hours), the girls were finally ready to unleash their hard work to the world, independently on their own label, 852 Musiq.

The album went on to become the #1 Independent Album on Billboard and topped the R&B Album Charts in the UK and in other parts of the world, whilst the lead single ‘Way Back’ remained in the Adult R&B singles chart for months.

They aren’t done with the album just yet. The girls are toying with the idea of releasing another single from the album and possibly even a remix album (two remixes were made exclusively for the Japan version of the album).

To celebrate this milestone, we are giving away a signed copy of this amazing album to ONE lucky fan!

  8. Omg how do I pick just one song? It’s hard to pick between No Introduction, American Gold, or Its Sunny….the whole album is so good!!!

    I think my favorite is “Sunny” cause it helped me going through very dark times in my life….This song always put a smile on my face and helped me going forward in life
    I been a fan since day one, thank you so much for everything TLC

    When its playing in my ride I dont tend to get my usual, extreme bouts of road rage. Plus, for me anyways, its a nice change up in style for TLC, but it still has that TLC sound… (A TLC sound which could be argued is just Tionne’s voice)

  15. Perfect Girls – both empowering and liberating and a song which everyone is able to relate to on some level, if you have ever felt like you’re not accepted for who you are or what you look like. Beautiful vocals from the girls – ‘Unpretty’ for a new generation.

  16. I LOOOVE ME SOME WAAAAY BACK as well as Haterz! More of Way Back though because that’s when I knew for sure T.L.C. is back and they still got it going on, not too mention you get a great amount of T-boz’s classic raspyness and Chilli’s smooth n sexy R&B😎😗😍 JUST MAKES U WANNA JUMP N SAY DER’ U GO!!!!
